Ilyun Bürkev

Ilyun Bürkev is a talented young pianist born in Turkey in 2008. She began her piano studies at the Istanbul State Conservatory of the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts under Prof. Burcu Aktas Urgan and later continued her education at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg with Prof. Pavel Gililov. Ilyun has participated in numerous masterclasses with renowned pianists, including Gülsin Onay, Gereon Kleiner, and Andreas Weber. Her achievements include winning several international competitions, such as the Memorijal Jurica Murai International Piano Competition and the Istanbul Pera International Piano Competition. She has performed with various orchestras, including the Cukurova State Symphony Orchestra and the Camerata Saygun Chamber Orchestra.

Ilyun Bürkev has been recognized for her exceptional talent, with Gülsin Onay referring to her as "my heiress." She has also been praised for her technique and dramatic sense in performances, such as her rendition of Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor at the İKSV Festival. Her recent performances and studies continue to highlight her promising career in classical music.
