No Doubt is an American ska-punk band that formed in 1986 in Anaheim, California. The group is fronted by lead vocalist Gwen Stefani, whose compelling presence and distinctive voice have become synonymous with the band's identity. The other members include Tony Kanal on bass, Tom Dumont on guitar, and Adrian Young on drums. They initially began with a sound deeply rooted in ska and punk traditions but evolved their style over the years to incorporate elements of new wave, pop, and reggae.
The band first gained major recognition with the release of their third studio album, "Tragic Kingdom," in 1995, which included hits like "Just a Girl," "Spiderwebs," and the chart-topping "Don't Speak," reflecting Stefani's personal experiences and the band's journey. Following this success, No Doubt produced several other well-received albums, such as "Return of Saturn" (2000) and "Rock Steady" (2001), which featured hits like "Hey Baby" and "Hella Good." After a hiatus, the band reunited to release "Push and Shove" in 2012, which included singles like "Settle Down." Despite various breaks in their career, allowing members to focus on solo projects and personal lives, No Doubt has consistently retained a loyal fan base and remains an influential group within the alternative rock and pop music scene. Their most recent activity includes reissuing albums with expanded editions, such as "Rock Steady," giving fans access to additional tracks and remixes like those found in "Looking Hot (The Remixes)."
