Stranded by Choice is a post-hardcore band from San Diego, California. Formed in 2015, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Ryan Smith, bassist and vocalist Chris Thompson, and drummer Matt Smith. Their music is characterized by its heavy riffs, soaring melodies, and introspective lyrics. Stranded by Choice has released two EPs, "Lost by Design" and "Western Sage," and a full-length album, "Hellroaring." They have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, sharing the stage with bands such as Thrice, Circa Survive, and Coheed and Cambria.
