Shiva Pariyar

Shiva Pariyar is a renowned Nepali singer, songwriter, and composer known for his versatility in blending classical and modern pop genres. Born on February 22, 1982, in Sarlahi, Nepal, Pariyar began his musical journey at a young age, receiving formal training in Eastern Classical music. He gained early recognition by winning a gold medal at the National Contemporary Music Competition hosted by Radio Nepal in 2003. His debut album, "Mokshya," was released in 2005, marking the beginning of a successful career that includes thirteen studio albums and numerous awards for his vocal performances. Pariyar's repertoire includes popular songs like "Dherai Choti Maren Ma Ta," "Kaha Thiyeu Timi," and "Alikati Nazar Timro," showcasing his talent across various musical styles.

Pariyar's contributions to Nepali music have been recognized with multiple awards, including the Narayan Gopal Sangeet Puraskar and several best playback singer awards. He has also been involved in charitable activities and has performed internationally, solidifying his position as a leading figure in Nepali music. In 2023, he served as a judge on Nepal's inaugural international reality show, "Mero Voice Universe," further highlighting his influence in the music industry.
