ShimmyMC, born Epir Thaci, is a German rapper of Kosovo-Albanian descent. Born in 1993, he began his music career around 2010, initially releasing music on YouTube. His early albums include *Kanakisch Knackig Gut!* and *Halt dein Maul*, but it was his 2012 and 2013 releases, *Akustische Schokolade* and *Akustische Schokolade 2*, that marked significant milestones. However, it was his 2017 album *Napoleon* that brought him into the charts in Germany and Austria. He is known for his rapid-fire rap style, often incorporating double-time flows into his songs.
