Throne Of Malediction

Throne of Malediction is a Blackened Doom Metal band originally from Montana, now based in California. The band was formed in 2006 under the name Sonic Demise, but changed its name to Throne of Malediction around 2008 following a lineup change. The core members are a married couple, Eric and Jessica, who have been the driving force behind the band's creative direction. They are known for their unique sound, which draws inspiration from a variety of metal influences, including Iron Maiden, Cradle of Filth, and Opeth. Throne of Malediction released their first full-length album, "Ceremonial Blood," in 2011. Despite facing challenges in their early years, the band continues to evolve, with recent releases showcasing their evolving style.

The band's music often explores themes of darkness and adversity, reflecting personal experiences and historical events. Eric and Jessica handle both heavy and clean vocals, adding depth to their songwriting. While they have had semi-permanent members in the past, Throne of Malediction currently operates as a two-person project for recording purposes, with plans to engage temporary live members for future performances.
