TarantisT
TarantisT is an Iranian metal band formed in Tehran in 2000 by brothers Arash and Arsalan. Arash composes the music and writes the lyrics, while Arsalan contributes guitar riffs and other inputs. The band has had a significant underground presence in Iran, performing private shows and participating in local festivals, including winning a gold prize at the Avaye Hambastegi Festival organized by Tehran's Municipality. They have also toured internationally, performing in Europe, the Middle East, and North America. TarantisT's music reflects a blend of metal genres, contributing to the evolving metal scene in Iran and beyond.
The band's current lineup includes Arash on bass and vocals, Bahman on guitar and vocals, Arsalan on guitar, and Reza on drums. They have released several albums, including "Tarantism EP" in 2006 and a full-length album in 2008. TarantisT has gained recognition for their energetic performances and contributions to the global metal scene.
