Cordyceps

Cordyceps is a brutal technical death metal band from the United States, originally formed in 2014 and based initially in Las Vegas, Nevada. Known for their aggressive and evil-sounding mix of death metal and black metal influences, the band took a couple of years to refine their sound before releasing their debut EP, *Black Blood Butchery*, in 2017. They were refounded in 2018 and have since released several intense works, including the EP *Betrayal* (2020) and the album *Hell Inside* (2025).
