**Trio 258** is a dynamic piano trio made up of pianist Lestari Scholtes, violinist Eduardo Paredes Crespo, and cellist Leonard Besseling—three super talented musicians with tons of chamber music experience from gigs at home and around the world. They got together back in 2015 in a cozy rehearsal spot at Keizersgracht 258 in Amsterdam, and fun fact: Leonard's cello was actually built a few floors down by his dad, luthier Matthieu Besseling!
These guys have rocked stages at big spots like Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, TivoliVredenburg, and even Opéra National de Bordeaux, plus festivals such as Storioni and Grachtenfestival. They've popped up on Dutch TV shows like Podium Witteman and keep honing their skills with top teachers. With a repertoire spanning Haydn to Fazil Say (but extra love for Romantic piano trios), they play on gut strings for that authentic, vibrant sound. Their debut album *The Return* (Rachmaninoff vibes) dropped in 2023 to rave reviews, followed by *Bohemian Legacy* celebrating Czech composers like Dvořák and Smetana.
