UOHO

Uoho, born as Iñaki Antón González, is a prominent guitarist hailing from Bilbao, Spain. He is well-known for his tenure with the Spanish rock band Platero y Tú, which gained significant popularity in the 1990s for their gritty rock sounds and evocative lyrics that majorly contributed to the rock en español movement. Uoho's guitar work is characterized by its driving riffs and bluesy undertones, drawing influence from classic rock as well as from Spanish musical traditions. After Platero y Tú went on hiatus, Uoho didn't fade into the background. Instead, he continued to assert his influence on the music scene as a founding member of the supergroup Extremoduro. With this band, he further cemented his reputation as a skilled musician capable of crafting complex, compelling melodies combined with raw, poetic lyrics.

Over the years, Uoho has grown into more than just a band member but as a respected artist in his own right. His solo works, like "Interpretaciones - Acto 1" and "Interpretaciones - Acto 2," showcase his versatility as a musician, offering more personal and introspective compositions. Tracks like "¿Cómo Has Perdido Tú?" and "Eterno Viajero" are testament to his deep-seated ability to fuse emotion with music, resonating well with audiences who have followed his career from the start. The riveting performance of "UOHO en concierto con la Orquesta Sinfónica de Gran Canaria" demonstrates his skill in bridging classical and rock music, proving that his artistry extends well beyond the conventional boundaries of rock. Uoho's contributions to modern Spanish rock cannot be understated as he continues to explore new sounds and expressions through his music.
