Nervous Norvus was an American rockabilly singer and songwriter known for his novelty songs and eccentric stage persona. Born in 1939 as Kenneth Nordine, he adopted the stage name "Nervous Norvus" after a nervous breakdown. His most famous song, "Transfusion," became a hit in 1956 and is considered a classic of the rockabilly genre. Norvus continued to perform and record throughout his career, releasing several albums and singles. He passed away in 2002 at the age of 63.
