Bartika Eam Rai

Bartika Eam Rai is a Nepalese-born American singer-songwriter based in New York City. Born on April 26, 1991, in Lalitpur, Nepal, she began her musical journey at the age of six and started performing in front of small crowds by the time she was 11. Her music career gained momentum after moving to the United States in 2015, where she collaborated with Nepali-American musician Diwas Gurung. Her debut EP, *Bimbaakash*, was released in 2016, featuring the critically acclaimed single "Khai," which won her the Song of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance (Female) at the Hits FM Music Awards. She has since released several albums, including *Taral* in 2018 and *Si/Ma-* in 2019, with her most recent work being *Aandhii, Ityaadi* in 2024.
