Niko Walters

Niko Walters is a New Zealand contemporary soul and R&B musician who debuted in 2019. He is best known for his hit single "Not My Neighbour," which was certified double platinum and became one of the top singles in New Zealand in 2021. Walters released his debut album *Escape* in 2020, followed by *White Flag Waves* in 2022. He grew up in Auckland and learned music socially, never receiving formal lessons. His musical journey began to take shape during a working holiday in London, where he wrote and recorded a mixtape that gained traction on SoundCloud. Upon returning to New Zealand, he signed with Universal Music New Zealand and has since become a notable figure in the country's music scene.
