Mahmood Schricker

Mahmood Schricker is a Canadian electronic and downtempo musician based in Toronto. Born in Iran, he immigrated to Canada at the age of 16 and later pursued an MA in ethnomusicology from York University. His music is characterized by a blend of downtempo, ambient, and experimental elements, often incorporating intricate beats, ethereal melodies, and deep textures to create immersive soundscapes. Schricker is known for his collaborations with other artists, such as Mohsen Namjoo, and his ability to fuse electronic music with traditional Persian sounds. He is also the founder of Link Music Lab, where he continues to explore and innovate within the electronic music genre.
