Negazione

Negazione was a seminal Italian hardcore punk band that made significant waves during the 1980s and into the early 1990s, leaving an indelible mark on the international punk scene. Formed in Turin in 1983, the band's lineup evolved around founding vocalist Guido Sassola (known as Zazzo), guitarist Roberto Farano, bassist Marco Mathieu, and various drummers over the years, including Michele "Jeff" Pellino and Fabrizio Fiegl.

The band was known for their high-energy performances and fiercely independent spirit. Negazione's music is characterized by a blend of speed, aggression, and melodic elements, which helped them to stand out in the burgeoning European hardcore scene. They began with their debut release, "Tutti Pazzi," and went on to produce a string of influential albums and EPs, including "Lo spirito continua," a touchstone in the Italian hardcore genre, and later works like "Little dreamer" and "100%." They toured extensively beyond their native Italy, reaching audiences across Europe and even in North America. Despite their disbandment in the early '90s, Negazione has left a lasting legacy with fans and musicians, and their music continues to inspire and energize new generations in the punk community.
