Mitch Miller was an American singer, conductor, and record producer. He was best known for his work with the vocal group The Gang, which he founded in 1950. The Gang recorded a number of hit songs in the 1950s and 1960s, including "Sing Along with Mitch," "The Yellow Rose of Texas," and "Tzena, Tzena, Tzena." Miller also produced a number of albums for other artists, including Perry Como, Rosemary Clooney, and Andy Williams. He was also a regular guest on television variety shows, including "The Ed Sullivan Show" and "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson."
