Tamas Veto

Tamás Vető is a Hungarian-born Danish conductor, born in 1935 in Budapest. He studied at the Franz Liszt Academy, where he trained as both a pianist and conductor. Following his studies in Hungary, Vető continued his education in France under the renowned instructor Nadia Boulanger. In 1957, he moved to Denmark, where he established himself as a prominent figure in the country's musical scene. Vető has conducted a wide range of works, including Wagner's "Der Ring des Nibelungen" at the National Danish Opera in 1996. From 1996 to 2000, he served as the chief conductor of the vocal group Ars Nova Copenhagen.

While Vető's recent releases are not directly associated with his own name, his contributions to Danish music are significant. His work spans various genres, and his experience in both choral and opera conducting has made him a respected figure in the musical community. However, the specific releases listed do not appear to be directly linked to Vető's own discography, which might suggest a focus on other artists or composers in those recordings.
