Vincent Youmans

Vincent Youmans (1898-1946) was an American composer of Broadway musicals and popular songs. He is best known for his collaborations with lyricist Ira Gershwin, including the musicals "No, No, Nanette" (1925) and "Hit the Deck" (1927). Youmans's songs are characterized by their catchy melodies and sophisticated harmonies, and they have been recorded by numerous artists, including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Tony Bennett.
