The Flavians

The Flavians are an international four-piece band based in Berlin, Germany, composed of Liam Blomqvist (vocals & guitar) and Joakim Jägerhult (drums), both from Sweden, Anna Vaverková (keys & vocals) from the Czech Republic, and Tom Wills (bass & vocals) from the UK. The band's story began when Liam and Joakim met in a hostel in Berlin, bonding over their shared disinterest in techno and eventually forming the band. They describe their music as "slippery slope music," blending psychedelic guitar textures with strong hooks and catchy melodies, reminiscent of '60s and '70s pop and rock. Their sound is characterized by vocal harmonies from three diverse voices and lyrics exploring themes of destitution and alienation.

The Flavians have gained recognition for their timeless, classic sound, appealing to fans of spirited, psych-tinged rock and pop. Notably, they were handpicked by Michael Eavis to perform at Glastonbury 2019, further solidifying their presence in the music scene. Their discography includes albums like "Ordinary People in an Ordinary World" and singles such as "On the Radio," which have been streamed over 150,000 times and played on numerous radio stations worldwide.
