Los Natas

Los Natas was a seminal band in the South American stoner rock movement, hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Formed in 1994, the trio, consisting of Sergio Chotsourian on guitar and vocals, Walter Broide on drums, and Gonzalo Villagra on bass, carved a distinctive path in the heavy rock and stoner genre with their unique blend of psychedelic rock, doom, and Argentinian folk music influences. Their sound was characterized by heavy, fuzz-laden guitar riffs, atmospheric instrumental passages, and a distinct Latin flair that set them apart from their contemporaries.

Throughout their career, Los Natas released a series of albums that pushed the envelope of the stoner rock genre. Albums like "Ciudad de Brahman" and "Corsario Negro" are considered cornerstones of the genre, showcasing the band's mastery of dynamic, riff-rich landscapes coupled with a penchant for the mystical. Their later works, such as "El Universo Perdido De Los Natas" and "Nuevo Orden De La Libertad," continued to develop their sound, infusing heavier elements with a matured sense of composition and experimentation. Los Natas' creative output often delved into thematic explorations of South American landscapes, spirituality, and personal freedoms, cementing their status as cultural icons in Argentina and beloved figures within the global stoner rock community.
