Tropical Fuck Storm

Tropical Fuck Storm, often stylized as TFS, is an Australian rock band known for its explosive and unconventional approach to music. Formed in 2017, the brainchild behind this eclectic ensemble is Gareth Liddiard, known from his time with the Australian band The Drones. Joined by Fiona Kitschin, also from The Drones, as well as Erica Dunn and Lauren Hammel, Tropical Fuck Storm stands out for their raw, discordant sound and politically charged lyrics, weaving a tapestry of punk, art rock, and psych-punk influences.

The band made a striking entrance onto the scene with their debut album "A Laughing Death in Meatspace" in 2018, which garnered immediate attention for its unapologetic examination of contemporary societal issues. Since then, they've continued to build upon their reputation for pushing boundaries. Their follow-up album, "Braindrops," released in 2019, solidified their place as provocateurs of the alternative scene. With recent releases like "Deep States" and singles like "Submersive Behaviour" and "Moonburn," Tropical Fuck Storm continues to deliver music that is as incendiary and thought-provoking as it is catchy, earning them a dedicated following and critical acclaim in the sphere of modern rock.
