The Nathaniel Dett Chorale is a Grammy-nominated choir based in Detroit, Michigan. Founded in 1998 by artistic director and conductor Dr. Lester J. Green, the chorale is dedicated to preserving and promoting the legacy of African American composer R. Nathaniel Dett. The chorale has performed at prestigious venues across the country, including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, and has collaborated with renowned artists such as Wynton Marsalis and Jessye Norman. Their repertoire spans from classical to spirituals, and they are known for their powerful and expressive performances.
