Bear's Den

Bear's Den is a British folk rock band that has carved out a niche for themselves in the indie music scene with their emotionally rich lyrics and harmonious melodies. Formed in London in 2012, the group originally included Andrew Davie (vocals, guitar), Joey Haynes (vocals, banjo), and Kevin Jones (vocals, drums, bass, guitar). Haynes left the band in 2016, leading Davie and Jones to continue as a duo, often joined by a supporting cast of musicians for live performances and recordings. Bear's Den quickly gained attention with their debut album, "Islands" in 2014, which earned them a devoted fanbase and critical acclaim for their articulate storytelling and evocative sound that blends elements of traditional folk with modern rock.

Over the years, Bear's Den has continued to evolve their sound, displaying a remarkable ability to fuse introspective songwriting with lush instrumentation. Their recent releases, such as "White Magnolias," "Honest Mistake," and "Loneliness," showcase a growth in musical composition and thematic complexity, exploring personal and social themes that resonate deeply with listeners. Their music has not only been celebrated in albums and EPs but has also found its way onto television, with the band providing the soundtrack for "Trying: Season 3 (Apple TV Original Series)." With their latest offerings including "Blue Hours" and the seasonal reflection in "Christmas, Hopefully," Bear's Den reaffirms their status as torchbearers of the contemporary folk scene, offering a source of solace and connection through their artfully crafted tunes.
