Chad Taylor
Chad Taylor is an American drummer, composer, and bandleader known for his innovative and genre-bending approach to jazz. He is a founding member of the acclaimed avant-garde jazz group The Chicago Underground, and has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Ken Vandermark, Jim O'Rourke, and Marc Ribot. Taylor's music is characterized by its complex rhythms, extended techniques, and exploration of non-traditional soundscapes. He has released numerous albums as a leader, including "A Monster is Just an Animal You Haven't Met Yet" and "The Reel," which showcase his unique and forward-thinking approach to jazz drumming.
