Ancient King is a roots reggae band from Jamaica, formed in 1999. The band's music is characterized by its strong spiritual and cultural messages, as well as its use of traditional Jamaican rhythms and instruments. Ancient King has released several albums over the years, including "Turn Ova Dem Tables" (2003), "How to Win" (2006), and "Plant of Renown" (2010). The band has toured extensively throughout the world, and has performed at major reggae festivals such as Reggae Sumfest and Rototom Sunsplash.
