Marvvila

Marvvila, born Kassia Freire Marvila on May 14, 1999, is a Brazilian pagode singer from Rio de Janeiro. She began her musical journey at a young age, singing gospel music in her church before transitioning to pagode. Her career gained momentum after appearing on *The Voice Brasil* in 2016, where she initially joined Claudia Leitte's team before being "stolen" by Lulu Santos. Marvvila's breakthrough came when she collaborated with Ludmilla on the track "Não é por maldade," which became a hit on Spotify. She signed with Warner Music Brasil in 2020 and has since released several notable singles and EPs, including *Minha VVez* and *Só VVamo*. In 2023, she participated in *Big Brother Brasil 23* and continued to expand her music career.

Marvvila's music blends elements of pagode with pop and funk, making her a standout in a genre traditionally dominated by men. Her performances showcase her powerful stage presence and versatility, as seen in her appearances at major festivals and events like Rock in Rio and the Multishow Brazilian Music Award. Her recent releases include *Livre Pra Sonhar*, *Só VVamo Sunset, Part. 1 (Ao Vivo)*, and *Maldito Pagode*. Through her music, Marvvila aims to inspire other female artists in Brazil, particularly Black women, to pursue their dreams in the music industry.
