JMPZ is a French band known for their unique blend of dub, rock, and industrial music, hailing from Mâcon in the Saône-et-Loire region. Formed in 1996, the group featured an unconventional lineup that included two basses, drums, and a didgeridoo. Their discography includes notable albums such as "Cyclothymique," "Subsonic," and "Sound Asylum," released over the years. The band's sound was characterized by complex rhythms and a fusion of different genres, notably incorporating elements of techno and rock into their dub roots. After 16 years of activity, JMPZ disbanded in 2012, concluding with a farewell tour.
