Piotr Kowal

Piotr Kowal is a talented pianist and chamber musician who has made significant contributions to the world of classical music. He graduated with distinction from the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków, where he honed his skills under the guidance of Professor Andrzej Pikul. Kowal has performed at various international festivals and collaborated with several orchestras, showcasing his versatility and musical prowess. In recent years, he has been part of the Czarakcziew/Kowal Duo, alongside cellist Paweł Czarakcziew, blending jazz and contemporary classical music in their performances. Together, they have celebrated the works of notable composers like Bruzdowicz and Katz.

Kowal's academic achievements extend beyond his undergraduate studies; he was awarded a doctoral degree in 2018. His performances often highlight his ability to interpret a wide range of musical styles, from classical to contemporary arrangements. His recent collaborations include works such as "Aurora" and arrangements like "On a Holiday Afternoon, Op. 9 No. 7" for cello and piano, demonstrating his commitment to exploring diverse musical landscapes.
