Aniello Desiderio is a classically trained guitarist from Naples, Italy, renowned for his impressive technical proficiency and emotionally charged performances. Born into a musical family in 1971, Desiderio was a child prodigy who began learning guitar at the very young age of eight, under the tutelage of Antonio Di Natale. Making his professional debut at just ten years old, he quickly established himself as a virtuoso within the classical guitar scene.

Throughout his career, Desiderio has won numerous awards, including the prestigious "Alessandro Tampieri" award at the Alessandria International Competition when he was just 18. His extensive repertoire spans from Baroque to modern compositions, and his style is often characterized by an innovative and sometimes unconventional approach to classical guitar. Apart from his solo recordings, which include "Live in Koblenz" and "20th Century Sonatas," Desiderio has collaborated with various ensembles, bringing fresh interpretations to classical masterpieces, such as Bach's Partita No. 2 in D Minor and Scarlatti's Sonata K. 432. His album "Chaconne, Aniello Desiderio Plays Baroque Music" showcases his intricate command of Baroque stylings, while "Gilardino: Homage to Naples" highlights his connection to his Neapolitan roots. Through recordings like "Italica famosa" and "Nocturnal", Desiderio continues to push the boundaries of classical guitar, enchanting audiences with his technical skill and passionate artistry.
