Duck Sauce

Duck Sauce is an effervescent and inventive house music duo formed by two illustrious DJs and producers, Armand Van Helden and A-Trak. Armand Van Helden hails from Boston and has been a significant force in the dance music scene since the 1990s, known for his numerous club hits and remixes. A-Trak, the younger of the two, is a Canadian DJ and turntablist, who made history by winning the DMC World DJ Championship at the tender age of 15 and later co-founding the influential Fool's Gold Records.

The duo's collaboration marries Van Helden's vintage house sensibilities with A-Trak's penchant for genre-melding innovation, resulting in a distinct sound characterized by playful samples, disco vibes, and catchy hooks. Duck Sauce burst onto the music scene in 2009 with the hit "aNYway," presenting a refreshing disco-house synergy that became their signature style. They soared in popularity with tracks such as "Barbra Streisand" in 2010, which became an international sensation. Their 2014 debut album "Quack" showcases their quirky and sample-heavy approach, filled with earworm tracks and rich, dance-friendly grooves. Despite a brief hiatus, Duck Sauce has continued to entice fans with releases like "Smiley Face" and "Captain Duck," proving that their blend of whimsical house remains as infectious as ever.
