Cloudberry Jam

Cloudberry Jam is a Swedish indie-pop band formed in 1991 in Linköping, Sweden. The group is known for blending diverse influences such as Motown, jazz, bossa nova, and indie pop into their music. Initially, their sound was characterized by heavy guitar use, but it evolved over time to incorporate more melodic and eclectic styles, drawing comparisons to bands like The Cardigans and Komeda. Cloudberry Jam achieved significant success in Japan, selling over 100,000 albums there, but struggled to gain major recognition in their home country. The band went through a hiatus when vocalist Jennie Medin pursued her academic career, but they reunited in 2004 as a trio.

Some of their notable releases include "Blank Paycheck," "Providing the Atmosphere," and "The Impossible Shuffle" from their earlier years. After reuniting, they released albums like "The Great Escape" and "Movin' on Up." More recent works include "Brick by Brick, Stone by Stone" and "We Move Like We Are Dancing." The band's music often features a mix of melancholy and technical skill, reflecting their unique blend of genres.
