Sleep

Sleep is an American doom metal band formed in San Jose, California in 1990. The band is known for their slow, heavy, and atmospheric sound, which has been described as "glacial" and "crushing." Sleep's music is often characterized by long, droning guitar riffs, thunderous bass lines, and hypnotic drumming. The band has released three full-length albums, as well as a number of EPs and singles. Sleep's most recent album, "The Sciences," was released in 2018.
