**Chiaré** (born Chiara Ianniciello in 1999) is an Italian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who blends jazz, soul, and R&B with a distinctly Italian sensibility. Based in Rome, she holds a diploma in jazz singing and is completing her studies in classical double bass. Her warm, intimate vocal style weaves personal stories and emotional snapshots over retro-flavored, jazz-infused arrangements that draw inspiration from Italian legends like Lucio Battisti and Pino Daniele. Chiaré uses both standard Italian and Neapolitan dialect in her songwriting, creating a delicate balance between modernity and tradition.
After winning the prestigious Bianca D'Aponte Award for emerging Italian singer-songwriters, Chiaré released her self-titled debut album in April 2024 on Four Flies Records, featuring eight atmospheric tracks including standout singles "Zanzare" and "Barocco." The album explores themes of love and vulnerability with a touch of irony. She's since continued evolving her sound, releasing new material including the 2026 EP *Sei*. Her music resonates with listeners who appreciate thoughtful songwriting, technical musicianship, and the rich textures of Italian popular music traditions.
