Gory Blister

Gory Blister is an Italian technical death metal band formed in Milan in 1991. Their music explores a range of themes, from psychology and modern literature to outer space. The band's early career included the release of demos like "Spoilt By Greed" (1991) and "Hanging Down the Sounds" (1993), followed by their first EP, "Cognitive Sinergy," in 1997. Their first full-length album, "Art Bleeds," was initially self-released in 1999 and later re-issued by Sekhmet Records in 2003. Over the years, Gory Blister has released several albums, including "Skymorphosis" (2006), "Graveyard of Angels" (2009), "Earth-Sick" (2012), "The Fifth Fury" (2014), and "1991.Bloodstained" (2018). Their most recent album, "Reborn from Hatred," was released in 2023, marking a new chapter in their career with a focus on groove and artistic complexity.

Gory Blister has toured extensively, sharing stages with notable bands like Amoral, Entombed, and Obituary. Their music is characterized by technical death metal elements, with a blend of brutality and intricate composition. The band has undergone lineup changes over the years, with notable collaborations, such as featuring Karl Sanders from Nile as a guest vocalist on their album "Earth-Sick." Gory Blister continues to evolve, maintaining a strong presence in the metal scene with their unique sound and energetic live performances.
