Gola

Gola, also known as Golazin Ardestani, is an Iranian singer-songwriter and musician based in London. Born and raised in Iran, she began her musical journey at a young age, studying music composition and performance in Tehran. Gola gained initial recognition as a member of Iran's first girl band, Orchid, which faced significant restrictions due to local laws. Seeking greater artistic freedom, she moved to London in 2011 to pursue her music career.

Since relocating, Gola has made a name for herself in the UK contemporary R&B scene with her powerful vocals and emotionally charged lyrics. Her music often addresses themes of women's rights and life under oppressive regimes, drawing from her experiences in Iran. Gola sings in both Persian and English, aiming to connect with a global audience through universal emotions expressed in her songs.
