Contraponto is a Brazilian hardcore punk band formed in 1982 in São Paulo. They are known for their politically charged lyrics and aggressive sound. The band has released several albums and EPs over the years, including "Sentimentos Modernos" (2019), "Cruzadas" (2018), "Alerta Antifascista" (2017), and "Pagando o Pato" (2016). Contraponto has toured extensively throughout Brazil and South America, and they have also played shows in Europe and the United States.
