Swami Jr.

Swami Jr. is a prominent Brazilian seven-string guitarist, bassist, arranger, and producer. He has collaborated with numerous important artists in both Brazilian and international music scenes, including Omara Portuondo, Chico Cesar, Elba Ramalho, and Zelia Duncan. In 2009, Swami Jr. released a solo album of songs called "Outra Praia" through the French label World Village / Harmonia Mundi. He has also been recognized for his work as a producer, winning the best arrangement award at the Festival Cultura in 2006 and being nominated for a Latin Grammy in the "Sound Engineering" category that same year.
