Electrosoul System

Electrosoul System is the production name of Andrey Burtaev, a Moscow-based producer and DJ who has been a significant figure in the drum and bass scene since the late 1990s. He began his music journey in 1998, initially working with classmate Alexander Skipetrov on the project FORCE MEASURING DEVICE and later collaborating with Dmitri "Shalabass" Zubkov. Electrosoul System gained widespread recognition after his track "A Tear in My Eye" was featured in Good Looking Records' "Progression Sessions" series in 2003. He has released music on notable labels such as Hospital Records, Spearhead Records, and Fokuz Recordings, and founded his own label, Kos.Mos.Music, in 2006 to showcase Russian and regional talent. His music often blends drum and bass with elements of house, techno, and progressive music, and he has performed across Europe, the UK, and China.

Electrosoul System continues to innovate, exploring various genres and collaborating with artists to create unique sounds. His live performances as part of the project ESSL are known for their energy and creativity. He has also been supported by notable DJs and producers such as James Zabiela and Laurent Garnier. In recent years, he has released several albums and EPs, further solidifying his reputation as a versatile and adventurous producer within the electronic music scene.
