Tom Kitt

Tom Kitt is an American composer, arranger, orchestrator, and music director best known for his work in musical theatre. He co-wrote the rock-infused Broadway musical *Next to Normal* with writer Brian Yorkey, and the show became a major calling card for his emotionally direct, contemporary style. Kitt has also been heavily involved in shaping the sound of modern Broadway through his orchestration and arranging work on a range of productions.

Beyond *Next to Normal*, Kitt’s credits span big, pop-leaning Broadway titles including *If/Then* (with Yorkey), *Head Over Heels*, *SpongeBob SquarePants: The New Musical*, and *Superhero*.
