Desangre

Desangre is a Mexican death metal and grindcore band that’s been making waves since its formation in 2006. Hailing from Toluca, the group was started by guitarist Athal (Alberto Rosas), who initially envisioned it as a guitar-and-drums duo before expanding to include bass and vocals as their sound evolved. Their music blends various flavors of extreme metal—death, thrash, grindcore, and brutal death—with lyrics in Spanish that draw from real-life experiences and a distinctly Mexican perspective, often delivered with a raw, sarcastic edge. Notable releases include the full-length albums *Solo Carniceria* (2008) and *Resurreccion* (2013), plus the EP *Eres Humano o Eres Basura* (2012), establishing their reputation for technical musicianship and conceptual depth.
