He was known for his unique blend of lovers rock with hardcore dancehall elements, creating a distinctive sound in the evolving reggae landscape. Sparks worked with notable producers like Lloyd 'King Jammys' James, who produced his major hit "Bye Bye Love" and an album of the same name released by Super Power Records. Among his notable covers are "On The Wings Of Love" and "Under The Board Walk". Unfortunately, Sparks passed away on March 23, 2004, after health complications following a motor vehicle accident.
