Remu, whose full name is Remu Aaltonen, is a legendary Finnish musician best known as the frontman and drummer of the iconic rock band Hurriganes. Born in 1948 in Helsinki, Finland, Remu carved out a major role in shaping Finnish rock music starting in the early 1970s. With his energetic stage presence and raw, rhythmic drumming style, he helped Hurriganes become one of Finland's first true rock'n'roll success stories. Beyond his work with the band, Remu has also enjoyed a solo career, releasing albums that blend rock, blues, and soulful vibes, often sung in both Finnish and English.
