BOYS LIKE GIRLS

Boys Like Girls is an American pop rock band that formed in 2005 hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. The founding members are lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Martin Johnson, lead guitarist Paul DiGiovanni, bassist Bryan Donahue, and drummer John Keefe. They quickly gained popularity with their self-titled debut album in 2006, which included hits such as "The Great Escape" and "Thunder." The album's success established Boys Like Girls as one of the prominent bands in the mid-2000s emo and pop-punk scene.

The band's follow-up albums, "Love Drunk" in 2009, which featured the chart-topping title track, and "Crazy World" in 2012, showcased a maturation in their sound while still maintaining their signature blend of emotive lyrics and catchy hooks. Boys Like Girls took a hiatus shortly after the release of "Crazy World" but have since returned to the music scene with new material such as "The Night" and "Be Your Everything." While not as commercially dominant as their earlier work, their recent releases like "The Outside (Outsiders Version)" and "Sunday at Foxwoods" demonstrate the band's enduring ability to connect with fans through relatable storytelling and melodic rock influences.
