Carwyn Ellis is a Welsh musician, composer, and producer known for blending genres and cultures in his work. He’s perhaps best known for his project Carwyn Ellis & Rio 18, which combines lush pop melodies with Brazilian rhythms and Welsh-language lyrics — a truly unique musical fusion. Ellis has also made a name for himself through collaborations with artists like Edwyn Collins, The Pretenders, and Colorama, the latter being a long-standing psych-pop project he's fronted.
