The Frightnrs

The Frightnrs are a reggae band formed in 2010 in Queens, New York. The four-piece ensemble crafted a unique sound blending vintage Jamaican rocksteady vibes with elements of 1980s rub-a-dub and punk rock energy. Known for their hard work in New York's underground reggae scene, The Frightnrs gained attention with their authentic approach to classic Jamaican styles.

In 2016, the band released their debut album "Nothing More to Say" on Daptone Records. Tragically, lead singer Dan Klein was diagnosed with ALS during the recording process and passed away shortly after the album's completion. The record serves as a poignant final testament to Klein's talent and the band's dedication to their craft.
