HEARTS GROW was a Japanese pop-rock band from Okinawa, active in the mid-2000s, known for their breezy, sun-soaked sound blending catchy melodies with light rock vibes. The group, formed around sisters Natsumi (vocals/guitar) and Kaname (bass), alongside Yu (drums) and Yūki (keyboard), gained attention for their bright, youthful energy and Okinawan cultural influences. They scored a major breakthrough with "サマーチャンプルー" ("Summer Champloo"), the upbeat ending theme for the beloved anime *Eureka Seven*, which remains their signature track. Their discography, including songs like the dreamy "そら" ("Sora") and the nostalgic "ひまわり" ("Himawari"), often carried themes of nature, memories, and carefree summers.
