ν was a Japanese electropop-rock band that emerged in 2007, evolving from an earlier group called HeaRt, which was active since July 2005. Initially formed as HeaRt under the LOOP ASH RECORDS label, ν took shape after some member changes in spring 2007. The band's initial lineup included jun on vocals, nono on guitar, hixro on bass, and ЯeI on drums. They went through several lineup changes throughout their career, with notable musical accomplishments such as their major debut single "RED EMOTION ~Kibou~" in 2011. ν was part of the oshare-kei visual kei subgenre, a style known for its flamboyant aesthetics and energetic performances. The band officially disbanded in 2014, but there were instances of limited reunions and activities over the years.
