Krokodil

Krokodil is a British metal supergroup that emerged on the heavy music scene with a blend of sludge, groove, and progressive elements. The band was formed in 2011 and is composed of an ensemble of musicians with pedigrees from various prominent acts. Its members include Simon Wright on vocals, who had previously performed with British metallers Rise to Remain, Daniel P. Carter playing guitar, known as the host of BBC Radio 1's Rock Show and also from his time in A, Lauren Harris on bass, who is the daughter of Iron Maiden's Steve Harris and had her own solo career, and drummer Dan Foord of SikTh fame, alongside guitarist Alessandro Venturella, also known for his touring work with Slipknot.

Krokodil's notable work includes their debut album "Nachash", released in 2014, which forged their reputation for creating heavy, riff-laden music with intricate arrangements and a ferocious edge. Subsequently, the band released singles such as "Shatter" and "Dead Man's Path," reaffirming their place in the modern metal scene with their aggressive approach and skilled musicianship. These singles continued to garner positive attention leading up to the release of "Clubs Are Closed Vol. 1," a testament to their ongoing evolution and endurance as a band against the backdrop of a world where live music venues faced unprecedented challenges. Krokodil's sound remains a testament to the raw power of metal and the collective creativity of its seasoned members.
