People In Planes are an indie rock band from London, England. Formed in 2002, the band consists of Gareth Jones (vocals, guitar), Jonny Pilcher (guitar), Matt Martin (bass), and Andy Spooner (drums). They are known for their catchy melodies, energetic live performances, and introspective lyrics. Their music has been described as a blend of indie rock, pop, and folk. People In Planes have released four studio albums, including "Beyond the Horizon" (2008) and "As Far As The Eye Can See" (2010).
