Edward Skeletrix, born Edward King Bass IV in 1998, is an experimental rapper, producer, visual artist, and clothing designer originally from Florida and now based in Atlanta. He started producing music in 2013 under names like Cight and Syckli, collaborating with artists such as XXXTentacion and Night Lovell, and was a founding member of underground production groups like 0% boys and Mizustation. In 2018, he launched his streetwear brand Syckli. Edward shifted focus in 2019 by creating strange, AI-generated visuals paired with rage-inspired music on social media, which built a cult following and laid the groundwork for his solo music project under the Edward Skeletrix name.
He officially released his debut album, *Skeletrix Language*, in late 2023, marking a clear evolution toward his signature style—a dark-trap, experimental blend featuring heavy use of synthesizers and Auto-Tune. His follow-up album, *Museum Music*, dropped on January 1, 2025, accompanied by bold promotional art events that blurred the lines between performance and audience interaction. Known for pushing sonic and visual boundaries, Edward also explores themes of rage and psychosis in his work, making him a notable figure in the underground and experimental hip-hop scenes.
